Hi I'm Tyler

I grew up in Utah. I am an artist, a dancer, and an animal lover. But most of all, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love animals. I have from a very young age. I plan to go to college to study zoology and hopefully work at zoos and aquariums as a career. Art has also become a big part of my life. I love to be creative and imaginative in everything that I do. I also like to dance and have fun expressing myself to music. I like watching people dance, too. My family and I go to performances all the time. I often push myself academically, taking advanced classes in high school. I am an Eagle Scout, achieving that rank at the age of 14. I like to watch the cooking channel, often getting high hopes for my own culinary abilities and quickly finding out that I can never be that good, I am definitely not a sportsy person, meaning I would definitely rather watch people play sports than participate in them myself. My family and friends are very important to me, as is the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in this church for my entire life, yet I have never sought for anything else. This gospel means so much to me. I have felt the blessings that have come from being a part of it. It brings me happiness, and it brings happiness to my family as well. I know that even as we make mistakes, there is a way for us to repent, and that through God's only begotten son, Jesus Christ, I can live with my family in God's presence forever. This church also provides a community of people who are all trying to do our best to learn and grow, and help others to do the same while trying to build the kingdom of God here on earth. We know that we are imperfect, but we can become perfected together, and I am so grateful for that. I know of the truthfulness and light of this gospel. I want to share what I know with others so that they can experience the same. This church is true, and nothing is held closer to my heart. I'm a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving and loving those around me. Serving others, even if it's just by smiling, can make a huge difference. I know of my responsibility as a member of the church to love others as Jesus Christ did, so I try to do my best to do so, even with those who I may disagree with. I live my faith by regularly attending church and supporting its activities. I am preparing to serve a mission so that I can continue to live my faith by sharing it with others.
