Hi I'm Ethan Vincent

I grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah. I'm an Eagle Scout. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm fairly athletic. I was on my local swim team for 11 years. I played football all through junior, and then I found my real passion which is rugby. I also wrestled my senior year in high school, and that was the most humbling experience for me. I love to hike and be outside. I am a huge fan of Lord of the Rings and Rocky.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was raised in this church. I have had my parents testimony to lean on, but gradually I began to build my own. I have learned to love this gospel for myself. The Lord has helped me through many hard things in my life. With sports, I have been able to pray for strength that I can do hard things. When I have been fighting with friends or family, I can pray to my Heavenly Father for comfort and knowledge. I haven't always had the strongest testimony, and when I felt picked on, or that nobody understood me, I realized that those were the times I didn't allow the Lord to be with me. When I would open my heart up to the Lord, I felt comforted and stronger than ever. That is why I choose to be a Mormon, because I know that I cannot have the feelings or impressions I've had anywhere else.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to be an example for others. I keep my standards high. I attend my weekly church meetings and go to the weekly youth activities every chance I can. I read my scriptures and I am almost constantly praying to my Heavenly Father for strength and comfort. I live my faith by serving others as much as I can, because charity is the pure love of Christ.
