Hi I'm Jefferson

I was born in Utah grew up here, I run track, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hi I'm Jefferson or Jeff. I have recently been called to serve a mission in the Vancouver Washington area. I love sports particularly basketball and Track. I live in Utah and I have been a member my whole life. I also love to draw and build things out of wood.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for two reasons one i was born into it and two I have stayed a mormon because of the experiences I have had in living these teachings taught by this church and I know without a doubt in my mind that this is the only true living church today.

How I live my faith

I am called to serve a full time mission, in Vancouver Washington. And I personally believe that as a member of the church your aren't a member just on sundays but you are to be constantly showing what you believe in or live your faith day to day not just on the weekends. As a Latter Day Saint there are many ways for us to serve in the community and live our faith, in our church we have a youth program that I was a part of that was held every week and it is designed to help youth have wholesome recreational actives and to help them prepare for life, my favorite thing about it was I had something to do every week and I could count on it being a good time, and I had friends there.

What is the priesthood?

Jefferson
The priesthood is the authority to act in God's name. The power of the priesthood is the holy power of God those who hold it must be worthy to act in God's name and must be willing to obey the commandments of God. This Priesthood is the same priesthood that existed in the original church established by Jesus Christ. It is through a direct line of authority that this church is led. Those who hold the holy priesthood are to be a witness of God and serve with the same love and compassion that God has for all of us. Show more Show less
