Hi I'm Brianna

I was born and raised in Utah. I've been called to serve a mission in the Argentina, Buenos Aires West Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite thing in the whole world is to go on adventures. I love exploring and am in constant awe of the world God made for us. I love the outdoors and anything that has to do with being outside. I played softball all growing up and throughout high school and absolutely loved it. Music also is a very big part of my life. I played the cello for 7 years and miss it a ton. I love just jamming out in the kitchen with my family. I went to a semester of college at BYU-Idaho and loved it so much. My plan is to become a nurse. The body is such a fascinating thing to me and I would love to be able to help others for my career. I love serving others and growing to love them through service. I have been called to serve for 18 months in the Argentina, Buenos Aires West Mission and could not be more excited to serve and love the people I will meet down there.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel and from day one was surrounded by members of the church, growing up in Utah, and so I have never known any different. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have had a typical "conversion story," but a couple years back I realized that just because I was a member of the church didn't mean I was converted. Conversion takes time, effort, and a desire to become someone new. I grew up in an extremely Mormon community and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Because I have always been surrounded by LDS people the line of right and wrong has kind of wavered at times. When I would see a member doing something, automatically my mind would think that that action was okay. In reality we are all imperfect beings and so we have to be careful with basing our standards off of other people's choices. Because I have had to make conscious decisions between right and wrong when I've been surrounded by gray areas my testimony has been tested and strengthened. All I have been through in my life has brought me closer to my Heavenly Father and I know that through Him everything can be made right. I have a testimony that God loves each and everyone of us, and yes that most certainly includes you. Whoever is reading this, never forget that you are amazing and that the Lord sees the greatest potential in you and longs for you to be happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the little things. I live my faith by going to church, reading my scriptures, saying my prayers, attending the temple, loving those around me, and fulfilling my calling. Currently my calling, or specific roll which I've been given at this time to fulfill, is being a FHE coordinator. FHE stands for Family Home Evening and since I'm in a Single's Ward I have been assigned a group of people from my ward to be in my "family." Every Monday we get together and I, and another person, are in charge of planning and running an activity. We do all sorts of things from playing games, to service projects, to having an actual lesson about the gospel. I love having the obligation and opportunity to help bring the people in my ward closer together.
