Hi I'm Ethan

I'm an Eagle Scout, Athlete, Language Enthusiast, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Northern Kentucky and have lived there all my life. I grew up with an amazing family who taught me great principles who shaped me into who I am today. I had the advantage of a family who loves to travel so I seen places from Switzerland, Mexico, to Japan. I also love sports. I grew up playing soccer and ran a lot in high school for my school's team. Through hard work and the motivation of others, I won many state championship races and was the 2014 Gatorade XC Kentucky runner of the year. Another one of my hobbies is drums (which I have played for 5 years). I played within the jazz band and concert band at my high school. Lastly, I love learning new languages. In the future I desire to be somewhat fluent in 4 foreign languages, more specifically Korean, Japanese, Russian, and Ukrainian. I currently serve a mission in L'viv, Ukraine and it's a blast!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon provides an excellent opportunity to serve others. While service is typically never convenient, it paves the way for others to learn the gospel and helps YOU to become more like Christ. I also love feeling the spirit. While some say it is hard to decipher the spirit vs. thoughts at times, we know that all good things/thoughts come from Christ. The instances when the spirit manifests itself to me, I can feel God's undeniable power. I'm grateful for the many blessings the church has brought forth in my life as well as the lives of others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through obedience. I can be first to admit I have made mistakes in my life which have really lead me off the path towards salvation. But through the atonement, all men can be saved including me. I try my best to keep the commandments of the lord to show my love for Jesus Christ. Following his sacred laws is my way of showing my deep gratitude for what he has blessed me with in my life.
