Hi I'm Sarah Lee

I am Sister Sarah Lee. I am a musician. I am serving as a full-time missionary in the Washington Seattle Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am number two of five kids. I was born and live in Utah. While growing up I lived in California and Germany while my dad was in the military. We moved back to Utah when I was in first grade and I grew up here. Throughout middle school and high school I participated in different music classes and activities. I play the clarinet primarily. I also spent time playing the tenor saxophone in jazz band. I was in marching band in high school and I have really grown to love and appreciate music as an art. I graduated from high school and am now a student at Utah Valley University. I love the outdoors and spending time with my family. I am serving in the best mission and I love being able to spend 18 months serving our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church because it is centered on Christ. Jesus Christ, who suffered for each of us because of his genuine love, is the foundation of this gospel. His atonement is powerful in so many different ways and I know from personal experience that it is very real. We can be comforted through our trials because Christ has experienced them. We all play a part in the Great Plan of Happiness. Our Heavenly Father does have a plan for each and every one of us. We can find our place in that plan by praying to our Father in heaven and aligning our will with His. We have prophets that are called of God that lead us today. Their words and counsel have given me much comfort and guidance in my trials and hard times. Jesus Christ's gospel was restored by Joseph Smith and we have been blessed with the Book of Mormon which was written for our day. This book was translated by the prophet Joseph Smith and I know it to be true. I am a mormon because of the peace and the love I have felt. I am a Mormon because I know these things to be true, through personal revelation and through confirmation from the Holy Ghost. I am a mormon because of the happiness it has brought me.

How I live my faith

Jesus Christ lived a life of service and did nothing but His Father's will. I live my faith by striving to turn out and look up! I strive to live a life that would be pleasing to our Heavenly Father by serving others and looking to Him. I pray each day to be able to be an instrument in His hands! As a missionary, I have the blessed opportunity to wear Christ's name and to teach others about the joy that comes from the Gospel!
