About Me

I'm a bookworm apparently, my hobbies are reading books and researching about new and fascinating things :) I like to chitchat and converse with other members of the church and share insights with also, likes to hear uplifting testimonies from them.I like serving my brethren and sisters and to share the Gospel in any way i can (through internet, or in person) I'm already 17 years old, currently a bishop's assistant and a ward missionary. I'll be on my 11th grade this school year. I'm the son of Alain Sagrado Macapil and Betty Lagawan Galleto (The sixth child and middle child in the family). I formerly have my studies in Iligan City National High School but for my 11th grade, i'm still undecided. I live Tambacan in the dubbed "City of Waterfalls" Iligan City, Philippines. You can contact me on my facebook account: https://www.facebook.com/brian.macapil :)

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of the church since i was a 7 year old child, but despite of my young age i discovered and learned and was fascinated by the truth that i have now because of the diligence i have in reading the scriptures and listening to the words of the Prophet. I chose to be a member of His church just because i know it was true because and I've found that it is true by praying sincerely to God for the truth. I testify of the truthfulness of this eternal plan of His. I will strive to live His words and to endure until the end, to prove to him my faith in keeping His commandments. The Gospel is my life without it, our purpose as human beings in this beautifully created world will be bootless or useless. I testify of this things to be true. I'm a Mormon, I know, it, I live it, I love it ! ^_^

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others, doing my priesthood duties and callings. Helping our ward to "rescue the ones" by home teaching and working with the missionary to visit the less active members and to bravely face the new investigators (Hahaha it's kinda scary but it's great!). I also do my Family history work (ooh, i love history) I've been to temple for six times and i'm grateful for that. I've teach the youth, at the time when i'm still the stake seminary class president and been teaching in our youth sunday school class and in young men organization. Sometimes we organize events or activity in our young men org, particularly. As we are as to do so by our president.

What is being a Mormon like?

Brian Galleto Macapil
Being a Mormon is being a covenanted-child of Heavenly Father. Being covenanted-child means following the great exemplar Jesus Christ, acquiring his magnificent attribute.Doing His words, serving our poor and needy brothers and sisters (Whether be members or not). Being a Mormon is being Christ-like in thoughts, in words and in deeds following the words of Paul who is inspired by God : "Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity."
