Hi I'm Quince

I am a college student. I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love ultimate Frisbee and almost any board or card game! I love learning about other religions and I am a college student. I can pick up a good book and read for hours. I like learning to do new things!

Why I am a Mormon

There is nothing that I want more than what my Savior offers me. His Church has inspired leaders who love to guide and serve. The promises found in the restored gospel are comforting to me during my trials and all the hard times. Because of the Church, even though I don't know everything, I do know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and wants the best for me.

How I live my faith

I like visiting families in my neighborhood and helping to serve them. I enjoy gathering with other young adults. I share my beliefs with those who are willing to listen and love to hear what others believe.

How are modesty and chastity related? How can parents teach their children to be modest in dress, language and behavior?

Quince
What we wear says a lot about who we are! When we go into a work interview, we try to look our best to influence our chances of getting hired. We wouldn't want to show up to a meeting, where everyone else is dressed in their best business attire, in our pajamas! We also behave differently in different attire. Sweats for workouts, and suits for weddings. How we speak also influences how others perceive us. The calm reasoner is more attractive than the shouting and swearing antagonist. So it is clear that what we wear, what we say, and how we act changes how others perceive us and how we perceive ourselves. Modesty in dress, language, and behavior helps us to be chaste and receive guidance from the Holy Ghost. Show more Show less
