Hi I'm Abigail

I'm from Idaho Falls, Idaho. I'm the oldest of four girls. I am going on a mission to Panama. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 19 year old college student studying medical laboratory science. I love just hanging out with friends, skiing, playing tennis, hiking, running half marathons, reading historical fiction novels, and just being your average 19 year old. I also have played the violin since I was four and loved playing in my city's Youth Symphony. My favorite activity is serving people. I loved participating in Student Council in high school and was on my city's Youth Council. I love being involved with everyone and everything.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon. This gospel has brought me so much hope and joy. I love knowing that there is a plan for us here on this earth. But my favorite part of being a member of His church is knowing that I can be with my family forever. I also love the unity that the church bring to people. No matter where you are in the world, the church is the same. Its filled with good, kind people watching out for one another. This truly helps me know that no matter what happens in life, the good people in the church will help me through it. I love my Savior, and know that he sacrificed his life for me, and for everyone, so that we could be forgiven of all of our sins, as well as find true happiness in this life.

How I live my faith

When I came to college I had to really learn to rely on my faith, not my parents. I had to make sure I went to all service projects, meetings, and to church all on my own. I also received a calling in my church. I was a teacher to all the girls on my floor in our women's meeting. I loved teaching them, as well as preparing the lessons, which helped me grow and learn. I am about to set of on an 18 month mission, where I will serve and teach the people of Panama.
