Hi I'm Gregory Winters

I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, but grew up in Dallas, Texas. I attend Brigham Young University studying Music Performance.

About Me

I am very active in sports and music. I played Football and wrestled in High School. I also played in the Marching Band and loved that very much. I go to Brigham Young University studying Bassoon Performance. I also love to spend time reading books and hanging out with friends. I occasionally with play video games but not as much as just having fun with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have strong faith that Joseph Smith helped restore the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Earth that we may have everything that is required to return to live with our Heavenly Father. When I was ten years old, two missionaries knocked at my door and my mother let them in. When these missionaries began to teach me and my bother about what they believed, I felt the spirit strongly. These two missionaries expressed so much love for their savior and for my family. I instantly knew that the church was true and that Jesus atoned for our sins. These missionaries changed my life for eternity.

How I live my faith

I have been a Leader in my Youth Group and a Ward Clerk. I believe that every calling I have had has helped me strengthen my testimony as well as helped me become a better person. Being the Leader of my Youth Group, I developed leadership skills and a likable personality. I improved my problem solving skills. Being a Ward Clerk, I got to handle the money the ward donated for Tithing, Fast Offerings, etc. This calling helped me become more trustworthy and reliable as an individual in society.
