Hi I'm Blake

I'm a Kidney Transplant Recipient. I'm a State Champion. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a senior in high school. I have been on a year around swim team since I was eight years old. I love to read a good book, go boating with friends, or go traveling. I am currently preparing to serve a mission!

Why I am a Mormon

My conversion isn't something that happened overnight but little experiences here and there. I have been a member my entire life but didn't gain a testimony for myself until a few years ago. It is than that I realized I needed to change I was unhappy with the person I was becoming and decided I wanted to be a better person. That is the wonderful thing about the gospel, that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we are able to change and strive to become the person that Heavenly Father wants us to be. I have seen my friends who are stead fast in the gospel and realized I wanted that for myself. Through little events here and there I have finally begun to live a life that has made me happy that wouldn't be possible without the gospel in my life. Some of my happiest moments of my life have been when I have been studying the scriptures and the Holy Ghost has testified the truthfulness of the things I have been pondering. I know with all my heart that this gospel is true and by searching diligently for yourself to know if these things are true will give you happiness like you have never experienced before.

How I live my faith

I am a big believer in actions speak louder than words. Any calling I've had I have tried to be the very best at it. I am always trying to buoy those around me and help them realize how important they are. I try to always keep an up beat attitude and live my life according to Heavenly Fathers plan for me.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Blake
Families are where we first gain our knowledge and our sense of who we are as a person. The family is a place of love and learning. A strong family can prepare you to be a better person and to grow strong Show more Show less
