Hi I'm Natalie

I'm a college student. I am a runner. I am a missionary at the Laie, Hawaii Temple Visitors Center. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I recently finished my freshman year of college and I am now serving a full time mission in Honolulu, Hawaii! I serve primarily in the visitors center here as a Mandarin Chinese speaking sister. I love to spend time outdoors and with family and friends!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe that life is meant to be full of joy and hope! I know that we have Heavenly Parents, who are real and love each of us very much. They want us to be happy and return to them! I really believe that Jesus Christ came to earth as God's son and He has made it possible for us to overcome our weaknesses and mistakes. I believe God speaks to us today, through a modern prophet! I'm a Mormon because I know these things are true and that they matter to us today. For me, having a knowledge that God is real and that the Savior can heal all pain makes me happy and excited to progress in life, to help those around me, and to return back to God one day. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

Being active in church activities totally shapes my life! I frequently visit other female members of the ward as part of my church calling... just to keep in touch and make sure they know how loved they are. I like being involved because it helps me get to know my fellow ward members better and reach outside my own sphere! Another way I stay involved is with the service projects my ward supervises.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Family is important because it is the unit we come into naturally! In a family, we learn to love and serve each other. Most families aren't perfect, I know mine isn't, but I have learned more about work, sacrifice, and love from my family than from anywhere else! Show more Show less
