Hi I'm Bryce

I am from Camas, Washington. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Board Games. Snow Skiing. College. Mission. Chef. Airsoft.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a third generation Mormon; although, only a part of my immediate and extended family still choose to believe. Because of this, I personally swayed back and forth for many years. At one point, I turned from the church entirely and went off to try other ways of life. It was during that time that I hit rock bottom. I felt lonely, depressed, and worthless. It was at that point when I remembered the stark contrast of how the spirit felt. One day, it all sank in. It was obvious, my life had spiraled downward and it had started at one obvious turning point. I asked for help. I returned to some old friends and started to put my life back together. The peace, love, and joy that the gospel brings into my life accompanied with the memory of the alternative misery is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Active participation. I love going to activities and making friends. Some of the greatest joy in my life comes from being united with my friends who have remained strong in the faith. It brings you closer together than anything else can. That's what life is about, making connections with others and finding joy in your current situation; I do that through the people I choose to surround myself with. In my ward, as the ward mission leader, I have loved working with the activities committees to gather people together for volleyball, frisbee, spike ball, and other activities. I live my faith by creating an environment of peace, friendship, and joy where everyone is welcome and belongs.
