Hi I'm Camilla

I grew up in Provo Utah and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors. I love hiking, running, swimming, kayaking, adventuring, camping, and just about anything that involves being outside. I also love playing sports. My favorite is soccer but I also love tennis, basketball, spikeball, ping pong, volleyball and cross country. I took piano lessons all throughout my childhood and love music. I love doing all these things with my friend and family. Both friends and family are extremely important to me and I love spending time with them and laughing. I am currently a student at Brigham Young University.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to follow this gospel because I know that I am a beloved daughter of God and he loves me. If I ever have doubts, I can always go back to my knowledge that God loves me. I also know that Christ atoned for our sins and knows what we are going through at every moment and always has his arms reached out ready for us to ask for his companionship and help. The beauty of God's love and the Atonement creates an incredible and beautiful message of hope for all that live on this earth. Although I do not know everything and sometimes have doubts, I know that if I trust in the Lord and move forward with faith, he will guide my steps. He wants us to succeed and to return to him and will everything he can to help us get there. The rest is up to us. I go throughout life with a sense of peace, knowing that God is watching over me and guiding my steps because I have faith in him and follow his commandments. I love this gospel and it has shaped everything about who I am today, and I would not trade it for the world.

How I live my faith

I believe that to be a member of the LDS church and having faith is a way of life. It is constantly striving to be better and more Christ-like everyday. I strive to be kind and generous to everyone I meet, regardless of their circumstances, appearance or personality. I do my best to be a great friend to those I am assigned to visit teach and anyone else I interact with in my ward. I often play hymns for meetings and love sharing this talent with those around me.
