Hi I'm Brittany Fransen

I grew up in a small town in Southern California. I hope to be a great leader. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! I'm Brittany, currently known as Sister Fransen. I LOVE reading, writing, and music. It may seem childish, but I believe in the magic of Harry Potter, Disney, and the gospel. I'm fascinated by all things intellectual and different, and I love adventure. I'm a Deaf Studies major focusing on interpreting. I'm currently serving in the Washington Vancouver mission, American Sign Language speaking. I love bringing the happiness of the gospel to other people. I love being around people, and being able to see Christ's light in others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the intensely pure happiness that living, loving, and learning this gospel brings is just too amazingly good to pass up. I have heard people say that "once you accept there is no God, you will be happy." This never made sense to me because knowing that God lives and knowing that through my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ I can return to Heavently Father and His home above gives me such beautiful happiness. To me, that is the main goal in life: to find joy in living, and being a member of God's one true church gives me that joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best everyday day to follow Christ, to say and do the things He would do. I also live my faith by serving as a missionary, which reminds me everyday to be an example to others and to invite everyone to come unto Christ. I live my faith by studying the Book of Mormon, which I know testifies of Christ and His gospel.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Brittany Fransen
I enjoy paying tithing because I know it goes towards "building up the kingdom of God." In other words, it does not go towards paying our church leaders, who are not paid at all. It helps build temples and meetinghouses, and to the welfare program, and many other areas. Show more Show less
