Hi I'm Hanna Horrocks

I grew up in the small town of Neola, Utah. I have been called to serve in the Peru Lima North Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Some of my favorite things in life include playing sports and games of any kind especially basketball, hiking and camping with my family and friends, working outside, and just spending time laughing and having fun with the people around me. I just finished my first year of college and I am now preparing to serve a mission in Lima, Peru.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this gospel and growing up my parents always took me to church and different activities put on in the church and I have always known of the truth of the gospel. But it wasn't until a few years ago that my faith and my belief in the church was questioned by those around me and then by myself. I wanted to know that the things I did my life were for a purpose, I wanted to know that I truly did have a savior that loved me and cared for me. So I searched, I lived the gospel to be able to know of it's truth and slowly I began to receive confirmations through the spirit that the things I did were right. My testimony didn't just pop up out of nowhere I had to search and live the gospel I had to practice my faith in God and then I was able to know that there truly is a God in heaven and that he loves everyone regardless of who they may be unconditionally. I learned that he forgives us for all of our sins no matter the size and that we can have happiness again because of Jesus Christs atoning sacrifice for us. I know with every fiber of my being that Jesus Christ lives. I know it and I cannot deny it. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today and that he receives revelation from our Heavenly Father to guide us in the world today, I know that Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only church that has been given all of the truths of the gospel in the world today. And last I know that because of the atonement that Jesus Christ preformed we are not only forgiven of all of our sins, but we are promised strength to be able to endure our struggles, trials, pains and heartaches that we have to go through in this life and because of that we can be happy and we can have joy. This knowledge means everything to me and I desire to share it with all of those who want to know the truth.

How I live my faith

In the past I have done a lot of activity planning for the youth in my ward as well as in my college ward. I love playing games and relating those games to the gospel and I think it's fun to be able to apply little games to real life because it makes life easier to understand.
