Hi I'm Taylor Miller

I'm from Las Vegas, NV. I will play college basketball after I serve for two years in the North Carolina Raleigh Mission.

About Me

I am the oldest of 5 children in my family. I love basketball. My goal has always been to play in college and I was blessed to receive a D-1 scholarship to play in 2018. I have received my mission call to serve in the North Carolina Raleigh Mission for the next two years. I am an eagle scout.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings me happiness. It adds structure and balance to my life. It comforts me to know God's plan for me. I love the fact that God knows me personally and loves unconditionally. I want to share this message with as many people as I can, because it means everything to me. The principles of the Gospel strengthen me in times of trial. I know that Jesus Christ is the literal Son of God. He walked on this earth as the perfect example, a light to all those around Him. He provided a way for each and every person who has ever lived and will live to be forgiven of their sins. He was crucified, but He lives. And because He lives, death can have no power over man. I know that when I mess up, there is a way back. Through his Atoning Sacrifice, I can become a better person each and every day. Ultimately, I will be able to live with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I go to seminary every morning to learn more about the scriptures and draw closer to God. I try to share my beliefs with kids at school. Studying the holy scriptures is very important and special to me. It is my duty in the church to watch over the young men and set a good example for them. When I was a little kid I made it a goal to serve a mission. I am now preparing to dedicate two years of my life to serving the Lord.
