About Me

My name is Nate I live in Fairview I love my family I am married to a beautiful wife and have 4 kids, 3 boys and 1 girl she is our youngest my oldest is 8 and was baptized this year my 2 older boys attend a school that teaches in both English and Spanish. I own a small drywall company which occupies most of my time when I'm not working I'm usually trying to be a dad and husband not sure how well I'm doing but I try, My favorite things to do are to go out to eat with my wife and to the movies. I also enjoy fishing with the boys.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in Utah My family came from England in the early 1800's it would be easy to say I'm a Mormon because my family has been for almost 200 years but that is not why I am a Mormon although I am proud of my heritage I believe there are some things in life you need to find out for yourself and that of religion is most definitely one of those things. I am a Mormon because I believe that God continues to talk to his children through prophets, I believe he has called prophets and apostles to lead his church just as he did in the new testament, I am a Mormon because the Savior is at the head of this church leading our prophet, I believe the Book of Mormon is the word of God just as the bible is and that it is a good fruit proving that Joseph Smith was called of God to restore his gospel in its fullness to the earth I've read it many times and believe in its precepts I know that it has brought peace to me and also understanding.

How I live my faith

I attend Church every Sunday I participate in the lessons being taught to our Sunday school groups and other classes my wife helps in the primary we teach our kids the gospel in our home as well as at church about the Saviors gospel as best we can and try to exemplify his teachings in our actions though we are not perfect.
