Hi I'm KaDee

I'm a writer and musician, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a student at Brigham Young University studying Early Childhood Education (Preschool-3rd grade). I love to write and enjoy yoga, playing the piano and electric guitar, and photography. I'm a big reader and I'm currently working (one of my many) dream job(s) as a clerk at the Harold B. Lee Library at BYU. I love my family, my friends, spending time in nature (and away from the city!) and the Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have brought the question of whether the Book of Mormon was true or not with my Father in Heaven. He confirmed very, very strongly to me that it was and that was that. The gospel provides me with the hope and help I need to continue to move on in a world where I would be drowning without it. For me, there is nothing else; I have had my confirmation and I won't--can't--deny it. Romans 1:16 :)

How I live my faith

I just try to do my best every day! I study my scriptures and say my prayers. I try not to get to angry at the other drivers on the road (even though it's their fault ;D) and I try to keep the Spirit with me, no matter where I am or what I'm doing. Something I've found that helps me keep the Spirit as well as lift others is trying to think up something I like about everyone I see and interact with, like "She has a nice smile" or "I really admire that he's comments so well in class". It's helped me to view others in a more Christlike way and be kind to everyone I meet!
