Hi I'm Joseph

I come from a family of five bassoonists. I love everything about music I even play piano, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to bake. I love soccer and I referee it every week. I love spending time with my friends. I like going to lots of parties and trying my best to make friends. I also enjoy engineering at school I spend a lot of time on it. I am in the marching band at my high school and I play the synthesizer, I called a nerd a lot, but my friends and I are proud of it. I also am enchanted by classical music. I don't enjoy a lot of modern music but if you give me an album of "Tchaikovsky's Greatest Hits" I would listen to it for hours (or until I know every note). I like to play piano and frequently compete in local piano competitions. I have a streak of top scores going (knock on wood). I like spreading the gospel and try to be a good example of a leader to everyone.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the feeling I get each time the gospel hits me with something new I just love to learn a lot, and to absolutely know that it is all true is just so fantastic I cry every time. I love the Lord and all the love and joy he gives me. Just knowing that he is always there for me I feel that power and never want to let it go. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am in the 14/15 year old boys class and I love every minute of it. I learn so much every week when we meet together. I love to conduct the music for our meetings and I also play hymns for our youth activities, my favorite is "Should you feel inclined to censure". I often feel that I express my testimony of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ through the music that I play each week. I am glad God gave me such an amazing talent and I want to use it to serve him.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Joseph
I feel that the "Mormon lifestyle" is not as strict as one might think it is. We do have our standards and we choose to follow them very closely, but we always appear happy to most people and have "a light about us" because we connect with God daily we pray to him to tell him about life and to thank him for the blessings he gives us. That is what causes the "Mormon lifestyle" it is the connection with god that puts us in a happier place that causes us to do good continually. Show more Show less
