Hi I'm Mason Mykola

I was born in L'viv Ukraine. And now live in St. George Utah. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm currently a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints living in Madrid Spain! I love spending time with my family. I love the outdoors especially going to our family cabin. I love hunting, fishing, hiking, watersports. As a missionary I'm serving a mission for two years in Madrid Spain.

Why I am a Mormon

I always kinda knew that the church was the right church. But recently I was able to visit the Sacred Grove and all the church history sites in New York. After visiting the Sacred Grove i just kinda knew that this was the true church and I had a overwhelming calm feeling while we where in Carthage Jail. I felt the Spirit so strong while back east.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example of the believers. There is a saying "actions speak louder than words" I live my faith by trying to be an example, though I am not perfect I try every day to do simply do the things I know are good and true. One way I live my faith is by always trying to improve and be better, reading scriptures, trying not to do things that would offend the Spirit. I try to take heed to the prophets voice and follow his council because I know that if I do I will be forever blessed

What is being a Mormon like?

Mason Mykola
Mormons are you everyday average people. And NO we don't have horns. We have jobs, hobbies, and interests. We attend church every Sunday. The one thing that may set us apart is that our church is centered on families. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Mason Mykola
All Mormons are ENCOURAGED to serve missions but it is NOT a requirement. Present monson says it best when he announced that the age change for all missionaries. "All worthy and able young men who graduated from high school regardless of where they live will have the option of being recommended for missionary service, I am not suggesting that all young men will or should serve at this age rather bases on individual circumstances as well as upon the determination of priesthood leaders but this option is now available." Going on a mission is a big deal it requires all your time and all of your energy. There is no down time, no breaks. I once was told that if someone has depression sending them on a mission is the best way to cure that problem. When President monson said "All able worthy, and willing young men" he means that if you are unstable, not worthy, incapable please don't go because it will only make things worse. The mission has changed my life and I will ever be greatful for the opportunity to serve and will encourage other to prepair for missions because I know that their lives will change if they let the mission change them. And that is why so many people push for missionaries to go because they know it will help them I'd they are "worthy, willing, and able" Show more Show less
