Hi I'm Briar

I'm from Brigham City, UT and preparing to serve in the Honduras San Pedro Sula East Mission.

About Me

In high school I have competed in Football and Wrestling at the Varsity level. I love to be outdoors. I enjoy fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, and especially hammocking. I have recently received my mission call and I am going to serve in the Honduras San Pedro Sula East Mission. I will report to the Guatemala MTC August 3rd and begin preparing to teach in the Spanish Language.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I strongly believe this is the true church. I have a strong testimony of the atonement and I know that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins so that we can be forgiven and resurrected. As I attend the weekly Sunday meetings I feel such a peace in my heart. I know that when we are in need, we can pray and ask our Father in Heaven for help and he will answer. This is the true church here on Earth and I know that if we will follow the commandments and that if we strive to become more like our Heavenly Father that we will be blessed.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity of going to seminary every day at school which really helps me build my faith. I am also the second councilor in the priest quorum in my ward.

What is being a Mormon like?

Briar
Being a Mormon is amazing. It is so nice knowing that we do have a Father in Heaven and that he does have a plan for us and our eternal happiness. Being able to attend church and church meetings every Sunday brings such a piece into my life. Having the opportunity to build a relationship with my Family and other church members through the Gospel is such a blessing in my life. Show more Show less
