Hi I'm Brian Hadley

I am from Mesa, Arizona. I am currently Serving a mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Layton, Utah where I live until i was three. I then moved To Mesa, Arizona where I have lived ever since. I love to read books of all kinds, the bigger the better. I consider myself to be a self taught amateur artist. I love nature and being outdoors. I love my family and can't wait to start my own. I am currently serving a mission for the church in Dallas, Texas.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love this gospel and what it teaches. I love the fact that this gospel promises that I can live with family for time and all eternity. I know that God is my Heavenly Father and that he loves me and wants what is best for me. I know that Jesus Christ is my Brother and my Savior, I know that he loves me and that he died so that I can be forgiven of my sins. I love this Church and I know that it is God's church on earth.

How I live my faith

I am living my faith by being a missionary for the church. as a missionary I dedicate my life to go out and teach people about the gospel for two years. I also help all those who have a desire to come closer to their father in heaven and Jesus Christ. I serve in the communities where I am and try to make every where I go a better place.

What is the First Vision?

Brian Hadley
As a boy, Joseph Smith was surrounded by various churches which, though they disagreed with one another, each claimed to teach the truth. This caused him much serious reflection. He wanted to know which church was right. One day he read a passage in the Bible which says, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him” (James 1:5). Joseph decided to accept the invitation to ask God. In the spring of 1820, Joseph went to a grove of trees near his home and prayed to learn which church he should join. In answer to his prayer, Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, appeared to him. Joseph wrote: “When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!” Joseph was told to join none of the churches that existed at that time as the priesthood authority and Church as Jesus Christ had organized it when He was on the earth had been lost over the centuries. Joseph Smith’s First Vision marked the beginning of the Restoration of Jesus Christ’s Church to the earth. Joseph’s written account of this event is a powerful testimony of what he saw and experienced. (Joseph Smith’s History chapter 1 verses 8-17.) Show more Show less
