Hi I'm Caleb
I was born and raised in Utah and I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am going to school for a degree in computer science. I love working with computers and electronics, I often spend my spare time fixing things for friends and family. I enjoy having a talent that I am able to share with others.
Why I am a Mormon
Put simply I am a Mormon because of my knowledge. I was born and raised as a member, having done that I can honestly say that when I was younger I went to church just because that is what my family was doing. For many years I dutifully went to Sunday meetings and other activities but I never truly knew. As I grew older I began to question why I was doing it, if I don't have a firm belief, then why am I doing this? That is not a question that can immediately be answered, it took months, years, and is still ongoing. I know because of my heart, I have felt the pure love of Christ and of my Heavenly Father as I have done what is right, and admittedly felt their disappointment as I have done what is wrong. I have felt of my Father's love my profoundly than I have ever experienced any of my own emotions through my entire life. Not only have I felt the Lord's love for me so profoundly, but through the spirit I have been lead to show that love for others in ways I never could have known. To randomly say something to someone you barely know and see it change their lives because the Spirit has prompted you, that, is pure happiness.
How I live my faith
I currently serve as a Ward Missionary, I often go visit members who are struggling or who have become inactive to see if there are ways which I can help them. I have also served as a Ward Technology Specialist, I would help those who had any questions about technology or if they wanted to learn more. I helped not only with teaching about church software but any questions. I have also been called and will soon be leaving to serve a full time mission for the church.
