Hi I'm Mhing

I grew up in Philippines, I love my family, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love Swimming, I was a varsity way back in college, and I used my skills in teaching swimming every summer. And right now, I am preparing to go in Mission :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was able to meet some young men in the church, they were my friends friends. They invited me to the church, and have the missionaries visit our home, My mom and I accepted them, but, she's not ready to be baptize yet, so, she let me to be baptized first. then after a year, she was baptized together with my brothers. Nobody expected that I will stay active in the church because I was alone, I don't have friends yet, my family is not with me. Every sunday, I am overcoming the temptation of not going to church, but I dunno, maybe the spirit guided me that I am in the right track, that's why I keep on coming to the church. I was too young that time, and I cannot fully understand the Gospel yet, but really, conversion is a process. Right now, I love learning the gospel, it makes me happy, knowing that I AM NOT ALONE all the way. I know where I am right now, I know my purpose here on earth and I love serving the Lord, I'll always look forward for tomorrow, keeping my faith and trust in Him is the best feeling that I have ever felt. Keeping the commandments is something that returning the favor, but, it is still for own good. I know all these thing are true, and I leave these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

How I live my faith

My calling as a District Primary Secretary/2nd Councilor taught me on how to be patient with kids. I am learning a lot of things about their behavior, things that are making them happy, how they care for others, their sweet, honest, teachable and innocence. I love seeing happy people/family in the church and it is encouraging me to keep pressing forward. There's more to life as long as I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ always wants the best for me and for other people.
