Hi I'm Jessica

I'm from Utah. I'm a violinist, artist, and dancer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play the violin. I love to draw anime. I'm a ballroom dancer. I love to fish with my Dad. I'm majoring in Music Education, string emphasis.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon because I believe and know that this is the Lord's church. I know this because I have felt the Holy Ghost confirm to me that this is His gospel, that The Book of Mormon is the word of God, and that Joseph Smith translated it through the power of God and that he was a true prophet. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet who leads the Lord's church today. I know these things to be true. I love the Lord. I love his son Jesus Christ and am so grateful for his Atonement. He knows all of us personally and loves us profoundly.

How I live my faith

At church my calling is conducting the music for the sisters when we sing hymns, sometimes even tell them a bit about the hymn and why the words are important. I also, at the beginning of each month, go visit teaching. It is such a wonderful time when I get to meet with some of the sisters in my ward to hear how they are doing and be able to share a message with them. It is also a way to find out their needs so I can help and serve them. Another things that I do, on occasion, is playing a hymn in sacrament meeting on my violin. It is one way I can share my testimony and help those who are listening to feel the Spirit.
