Hi I'm Lydia Bangerter

I am a Mormon! I love the Gospel and my family, and I am currently serving a mission to help others draw nearer to Jesus Christ.

About Me

I am a devoted student of life with a passion for education. I also love to cook and bake, and plan to become a Registered Dietician Nutritionist in the future. Right now I am serving a full-time mission, and I love to share the Gospel with others!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised into the Gospel, a blessing for which I am eternally grateful. Still, I had to work for my testimony. I have to continue to work on it every day. As a young adult struggling to make my way in the world, I often find myself amidst great turbulence and trials. I fight for my faith in Christ every day, and my personal testimony of the Savior is my rock and foundation. I hold onto the hope Jesus Christ gives me to make it through these difficult times. I know that I can do all things through Christ. Living His Gospel brings so much joy to my life! I am a kinder and happier person because He lives and loves me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others by small and simple means. As a missionary, I have the opportunity to share the gospel every day with people I meet. My companion and I teach lessons, visit people, and help out in the community. I believe that families can be together forever, and I strive to maintain a loving relationship with my parents and learn from them. I also enjoy spending time with my sisters and sharing my experiences with them so that they may come to know Christ and find joy in their lives. My sisters are my dearest friends! At school, I have found that my academic performance directly correlates to how dedicated I am to my spiritual learning. When I read the scriptures, pray daily, and keep the Sabbath day holy, I am able to excel in my classes and accomplish all my daily tasks. When I put the Lord first in my life, everything else falls into place.
