Hi I'm Brian Farstead

I'm a missionary serving in the California Arcadia mission speaking Spanish.

About Me

I was born in Seattle then moved to Chicago when I was 12. I am a sophomore at Brigham Young University-Provo studying psychology. I love sports, listening to music, and going to concerts.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church with all my heart. I was born into an LDS family and have always had a strong spiritual influence surround me. I have come to know who Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are and have gained a strong testimony about them. I know that Heavenly Father knows each of us personally and that Jesus Christ suffered for our sins. The Atonement is real. Jesus Christ is by our side every step of our journey, no matter what we may be going through. This church has given me an infinite source of hope. Even when we may feel that it is too late or that we are no longer worthy to receive his blessings, Christ is still there. It is never too late. President Uchtdorf said that "there is no life so shattered that it can not be restored". I have been restored through the power of this church and I am eternally grateful for all that it has done for me.

How I live my faith

My duty in my church right now is to teach other people about Jesus Christ and the Book of Mormon. I will be doing this for two years.
