Hi I'm Jenessa

I grew up in Virginia. I love music and the arts. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of five in my family. I'm a college student, studying art education. I love working with little children and hope to one day teach them. I'm passionate about music, not a day goes by where you won't find me singing something. I play the flute and the piano and love to sing my heart out. I have such an appreciation for music, it connects with me in a way nothing else can. And I love to go dancing with my friends, ballroom dancing and latin dancing are a particular favorite!

Why I am a Mormon

This gospel has brought me nothing but happiness. Sometimes the world appears to offer you happiness but I have learned that what they offer is only temporary. In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I have discovered truth that brings me a happiness I know will last beyond the grave. I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I am constantly striving to be more like him and come closer to him. I'm a Mormon because I know that the truths of Jesus Christ's gospel have been restored in this church. I know this as a result of long seeking and study of the scriptures and prayers to my Heavenly Father. I have felt his presence in my life and I have felt his spirit in my heart telling me that this is truth, this is where I'm meant to be. And this is where I will become whom I'm destined to become, with the help of my Savior.

How I live my faith

I have served in various different areas of the church. I have been the pianist and a coordinator for the women's group, who have assignments to visit certain women and to share a spiritual thought and help and support them. I am currently serving as a missionary, I invite people to come unto Christ and help them take the steps they need to live with God again.
