Hi I'm Christine

I am a missionary, student, daughter, sister, aunt, and a friend. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and I will always consider myself a Texan as a result. I am currently serving as a missionary to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada! When I return from my service as a missionary, I plan on continuing my education at Brigham Young University to become a math teacher.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because to me, this gospel is everything. It is His gospel restored here on earth, and I would do anything to be a part of it. I have been given everything I have in my life (100%), and the least I can do is give back as much as I can, whether that be in a 10% tithe, or my time, talents, or service. Everything I do and say is for Him. I love Him because He first loved me, and that is such a beautiful thing. He suffered and died for me so that I can live with Him again. I was blessed to be born into the church and into a family with loving parents and older siblings who have nurtured me and taught me how incredible God is. I strive to give back as much as I can as a result. The covenants I made in the temple reminds me to always remember and follow Him. I couldn't imagine living my life any other way than the Mormon way, and I have been so blessed.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being as faithful as I can be by living the commandments of God. I am serving as a missionary to concentrate on bringing others closer to Christ. I hope to share the gospel with those who are willing to listen and open up their hearts to hear what God wants us to know and do. I strive to pray, read my scriptures, and attend the temple as often as I can to worship the Father and learn as much as I can about His divine nature. I attend church every Sunday and in the past, I have served as a leader of a congregation of women for two years, and I have played the organ for the congregation as a whole for one year.
