Hi I'm Nathaniel

I grew up in eastern Oregon. I love to be outside. I enjoy trivia. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in eastern Oregon. I love to hunt, fish, and enjoy many other activities in the mountains. I like going to the gym and working out. I go to the gym at 4:45 each weekday morning. I like to lift weights, and I have lost over 40 pounds! I shoot trap. I really enjoy shotgun shooting because it is a mental challenge. I am going to be serving a mission for two years in Kentucky.

Why I am a Mormon

I was invited to come to church when I was 14. I decided to go. I went on a Mormon pioneer reenactment. It was a really neat experience. I felt things that I couldn't explain, and when I got home I made the decision to be baptized. For two years I was the only active member in my house. It is difficult to be a teenager without your parents encouraging you to go to church is tough, but I was able to gain a knowledge of the truthfulness of the church. When I turned 16 I baptized my sister. I have read the Book of Mormon many times, and I know it is true. I am so grateful for everything I have gained from joining the church, and I would encourage all who are curious to read the Book of Mormon and find out for themselves just like I did, then they too will know of its truthfulness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church each week and participating in all that I can. I talk to everyone I can so I can really feel like part of a family, not just people I go to church with. I also live my faith by studying my scriptures each day. I study for around one hour each day. I also go to the homes of some of the people I go to church with just to check up on them and make sure they are all right. I also live my faith by trying my best to live my faith. I try to be nice and positive to people. I try to include all people into my conversations and activities.
