Hi I'm Richard

I love calculus, classical music, and country western dancing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a college student studying electrical engineering. I love math, physics, and anything that has to do with computers. I also love music, and play the violin and piano whenever I get the chance. Country swing dancing, hiking, and chess are some of my other hobbies. Someday, I hope to move out into the country and operate a family farm into my old age.

Why I am a Mormon

One of the most powerful doctrines to me in the LDS church is the doctrine of families. To know that the bonds and relationships I develop in this life can continue for eternity in the next is truly comforting and inspiring. It makes me want to be a better person; it gives me purpose in life, something to strive for. This doctrine of eternal families is very dear to my heart.

How I live my faith

I come from a very musical family, so I am currently serving as ward organist (I accompany the congregation in hymn-singing during Sunday meetings). It's great to be a part of such holy, inspiring music, which I believe has the potential to bring God's children closer to Him than almost anything else.
