Hi I'm Kristen

I grew up in Ohio. In high school I did color guard for 4 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love color guard and marching band! I did high school marching band for all 4 years and I've done one year of college color guard. I'm currently going to college studying to go into the medical field. I love watching college football and really any college sports! I have a passion for learning, especially anatomy. It was my favorite class in high school and is my favorite class in college. It's why I want to go into the medical field.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family of church members, so I always grew up hearing about the Gospel; however, this is not why I'm a member. I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I've pondered and prayed and I know for myself that the Church is true. My conversion to the Gospel was very slow and it took me a while to realize how much I love this church because it's hard to appreciate things that you've always had. I've always had the Gospel in my life and I'm so grateful for that. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and all His children. This church gives me hope. This church is true and I love it.

How I live my faith

One of my favorite things that I did with my youth group was volunteering at the homeless shelter once a month! Once I moved out of the house and went to college I was asked to be a Sunday school teacher. Every other week I would prepare a lesson to teach a class of my peers. It was by far my favorite calling I've had. I loved leading discussions about the Gospel and how it applies to our lives!
