Hi I'm Daniel Green

I grew up in North Carolina. I am the second oldest of five children and I love to play sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have graduated from high school, graduated from seminary, earned my Duty to God award, and am an Eagle Scout. I went to BYU-Idaho for two semesters after high school, and will soon be going on my mission to Romania and Moldova. After my mission I am transferring to BYU Provo where I will graduate and seek to earn a degree. I live in North Carolina and am the second oldest of five children.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true, and that it is the pathway to true happiness in this life, and for eternity. I am a Mormon because I know that the Christ lives, and that through his atonement we can be forgiven of our sins, so that we can one day live with our Heavenly Father again. I am a Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and that Joseph Smith was a prophet. I am a Mormon because I know that President Thomas S. Monson is the prophet on the earth today, and that he is called of God to lead the church. I am a Mormon because I know that this church is true, and that the blessings of the gospel bring true, everlasting happiness into our lives.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings every Sunday, and by doing my best to live the gospel of Jesus Christ every day of my life. I pray twice a day, once in the morning and once at night, as well as read my scriptures everyday. I do my home teaching every month, as well as fulfill my callings that I have been called to do in my ward. I do my best everyday to serve others because that is one of the best ways to demonstrate charity and to show others that you love and care about them. I obey God's commandments and I live my life in a way that I can always have the spirit with me. As I live my life in accordance to the principals of the gospel I remain worthy of my priesthood so that I can use it to bless the lives of others when they are in need of priesthood service.
