Hi I'm Allyson Minster

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am one of six kids. My dad is back active and my mom is a convert. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I report May 18th to the Missionary Training Center. I will be serving in Little Rock, Arkansas for 18 months. I will be knocking doors each day to invite others unto Christ and serving the people of Little Rock.

Why I am a Mormon

Being born and raised in the church doesn't always ensure that you will be a faithful and strong member. I had a testimony in my brain, but never felt it with my heart. I never knew how important it was to have the Spirit with you at all times. I fell away for a short time only to realize how truly unhappy it made me to be apart from the church. I studied what I thought to be true and upon ASKING I was given a sure feeling in my heart. I felt the Spirit testify to me that this IS the true church. What I was feeling was confirmed and it was an answer I will never doubt ever again. I continue to follow the Gospel because of the true happiness it has brought me. I was able to use the atonement to repent of my sins and a burden was lifted off my shoulders. It is an incredible feeling to know that my sins are forgotten and washed away. I recently obtained a temple recommend and received my endowments in the temple for the first time. It was something I will never forget and I can't wait to get out and share my story with others.

How I live my faith

I go to church each Sunday and learn more about the Gospel each time to grow my testimony. Once a month I will go and visit two members of my ward who I have grown to know and love personally. Visiting teaching is something I look forward to each month because I learn so much. I say my prayers day and night to strengthen my communication with my Heavenly Father.
