Hi I'm Jenna

I grew up in California. I love to play tennis, read, and spend time with loved ones. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young gal who is learning how to love life! I grew up in California, but I also have lived four incredibly enjoyable years in Kentucky. I go to school at Brigham Young University-Idaho, and although that's been difficult and challenging I've also really enjoyed pushing myself, and getting all of the learning that I can. I love to play sports, I love my family (especially my sisters), and I love to read. Seriously I can read a new book about every week, and that's when I have a crazy busy college schedule. I also like to sleep and eat, but I think that's a production of my college life. Currently, I am serving a mission in the Colorado Fort Collins area, and I am loving every chance I get to share the truthfulness of the message of the gospel! Overall, I'm just a basic girl trying her best to follow the example of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I started out being a Mormon, because this was the church my mom brought me to every Sunday growing up. However, now, living on my own (at college) I needed to find a reason to be a Mormon that was more sincere. I have worked tirelessly to know, to really know, that this church is Truth. After being a member for so long for the casual reason that this is my mom's church, it was important to me to know for a surety that this church was where my God wanted me to be. So I am a Mormon, because I have prayed, fasted, and searched the scriptures, and I have received the Truth that God wants me to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday; it starts with my prayer and scripture study, and then is seen through my actions. Basically, I spend everyday in communion with God, reading His scriptures, and looking for His hand in my life. I am currently living my faith by preparing to serve a mission for the Lord, and that is something that I am excessively excited for. That's something that's a little more of a grand example of living my faith, but to by honest I live my faith by trying to be the best person I can be, and by acting on what the Lord asks me to do.
