Hi I'm Nicole Anderson

I'm a student at USU. I am a national champion in Olympic Style Taekwondo sparring. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Nicole but I go by Nikki! I am currently a sophomore at USU studying Human Biology. I hope to go to University of Utah in the physician assistant program. The things that means the most to me is my family. The more I grow up, the more I realize how lucky I am to be able to spend eternity with them. Our favorite things to do together includes anything doing with the outdoors. We are big on camping, especially Payson Lakes, hiking, fishing and biking. We also got our black belts together too! Me and my brother are second degree black belts and the rest of my family is first degree in black belts. I competed very competitively and ended up becoming a State, Region, and National Champion in Olympic Style Taekwondo Sparring. After competition I began teaching and loved every minute of it! I taught kids ages 4-12 in the beginning class and loved watching the kids grow and change in ways they didn't think possible. All through junior high and high school I performed in the orchestra playing the violin and ended up teaching some of my neighbor kids as well. I have recently received my mission call to Tokyo Japan and am sooooo stoked!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ. I know this is His restored church. His atonement has given me power, forgiveness and peace in my life. Because he was resurrected, I can too as well as my family. Thankfully, He has given us all a way to be resurrected and live with Him and God with our families for eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living a Christ centered life. By doing so, I learn about Christ and try to follow his example through service, patience and love. I visit teach some women in my ward area and love lifting them up and becoming closer friends through it as well. I teach a Sunday school class and enjoy teaching simple and powerful lessons such as prayer, charity and eternal family.
