Hi I'm Tim

I am from Alabama. I joined the Army out of high school and traveled the world. I am now living in Hawaii. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy hiking, camping and carpentry. I am a husband and father of three children. I grew up in a small town and joined the Army to explore the world. I have visited more than a dozen countries and experienced several different cultures. I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring new challenges.

Why I am a Mormon

As a child, I was raised in a Baptist church. As I grew older, I noticed that not everyone lived the life that they wanted you to believe. I questioned their faith and then mine as well. For many years after my youth, I had fallen away God. As I grew older and became a father, it became more important for me to set a good example in my household. I had met several friends that were Mormon, and was able to witness firsthand the type of father's and husbands that they were. They had what I wanted. I began to investigate the Church and began to study the scriptures and pray about it all. As I began to read, study and pray more, I began to feel more at peace in my life. I started to attend Church and become involved with other members. All of the difficulties that were in my life were not there any longer. My wife and I decided to join the Church and to get baptized. By far the best decision that we have ever made. We are at peace because of the decision that we had made and continue to learn as much as we can and to live a life following the plan of salvation.

How I live my faith

I spent more than a year investigating the Church. I have so many friends that were Mormon, and I admired the values and dedication that they all shared in their belief. I volunteer to help the missionaries that are assigned to my ward and to spend time with them visiting people of the community and sharing the scriptures with people. I spend the evenings with my family and read scriptures and pray as a family and talk about how Jesus Christ is our Savior.
