Hi I'm Henry Molina

I am a brother, friend, son, worker. I love to play basketball and about any type of sports. Also I am Mormon!

About Me

I am current student at community college working to finish my GED for many purposes but mainly to be able to serve my mission. I enjoy sports and hanging out with friend and meeting new people. I've been inactive for about 2 years and have been the most difficult of my life. I came originally from Florida but as I wasn't doing anything good for why I'm here, for my life I decided to move down to Colorado with my dad as he has been living here for a long time. Now I'm getting back to church and feel like Heavenly Father has something else for me in my future. I'm wiling to do the best I can to reach eternal life and bring others onto Christ and his restored gospel!!!

Why I am a Mormon

As I was young and born of goodly parent, thing had happen in my life that I couldn't explain or would not of any intention because of the pain I've encounter. I happen to one day wanting to know who was Jesus as I've heard of him and not really fully understood why he came and died for us the way he did, him being perfect. I prayed in my mind a silent prayer to Heavenly Father, quote "I don't know if there is anyone lisening to me but I know there is a God, I want to know him, Jesus who is he and why is he important as I was raised to belive in him please help me know I want to know him, amen" end of quote. I don't fully remember if it was the very next day or a couple days later but there was a knock on my homes door as my family and I where all there but didn't want to open as we thought it was other churches that we've been in but didn't understand them as they speaked of different things about Christ and they, my family didn't want to hear them, as in that moment I felt like this time it was different and I knew then I needed to open the door, with out any doubt in my hear but in my mind many I opened the door. There I saw two young men dressed in suit and tie being young of age like about in their 20's, 19's they looked worn out and very anxious to speak their message they looked at me and said quote,"where the missionaries of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saint and we have a message about Jesus Christ would you be interested in listening" there and then I knew my prayed had been answered by Heavenly Father and what they teached me then and during the time I met with them I knew with no doubt that this is where I needed to be. In only 3 weeks I was baptized by Elder Johnson with the authority of the priesthood by the immersion in water I was born again for some reason that was my feeling. Then conformed the gift of the Holy Ghost the next Sunday has been the most unexplainable fire warm burning sensation of love, happiness, peace of feeling in life.

How I live my faith

I know the Church of Jesus Christ is true as I've seen it change my family, being the first to join the church and knowing joseph smith was a prophet of Heavenly Father and that he seen him with Christ to restore the true church of the everlasting Father and his plan to comeback to live with him for life and eternity. I also know the Book Of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and that together with the Holy Bible are the full gospel, they make up the full testimony of two kindred nation that testify the true power of God and the plan for why we are here, where we come from, and where we r going! I say this in the name of Jesus Christ AMEN.

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

Henry Molina
Heaven is the place where God lives and the future home of those who do God’s will and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. The hope of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and the purpose of life on this earth is to teach us and prepare us that we, along with our families, might live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ eternally. After we are resurrected we will be judged and rewarded for the things we have done in this life (see Revelation 20:12,13). Jesus Christ taught His Apostles that in His Father’s house are “many mansions” (John 14:2). Our loving Heavenly Father is anxious to reward all of His children according to their obedience to His commandments and their willingness to follow the Savior. Those who do these things and are worthy to return to the presence of God and Christ become “heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ” (Romans 8:17) of all that the Father has. They will return to live with Heavenly Father and with their families in His eternal glory. Those who choose not to follow our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ will receive a reward according to what they have done in this life, but they will not enjoy the glory of living in the presence of God. What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Henry Molina
Jesus Christ did what only He could do in atoning for our sins. To make His Atonement fully effective in our individual lives, we must have faith in Christ, repent of our sins, be baptized and confirmed by one having authority, receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, obey God’s commandments, receive sacred ordinances, and strive to become like Him. As we do these things through His Atonement, we can return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father forever. Show more Show less
