Hi I'm Brianna Frehner

I grew up in California. I am 19 years old. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and I have recently completed my first year of college. I enjoy outdoor activities and trying new things. I enjoy meeting new people and creating long lasting friendships! I have recently developed a passion for creating new ways to bring people together through service.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the joy that I have felt by living my life the way that I do. I was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but there was a point in my life that I wondered if the church was true.I had the desire to know for myself if all the things that I have learned were true. I know that Joseph Smith knelt in a grove of trees and prayed to God the Father asking him which church he should join. I know that he saw our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. The reason I know this is because I sought the same answer. I sought to know if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was the church I should be apart of. So I knelt down on the side of my bed and asked God with everything that I possibly could give and I received my answer. Did God the Father and Jesus Christ appear to me? No, but at that moment I knew for certainty that Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. If I knew that was true, then I knew without a doubt that the church was true as well. I have felt so much happiness and peace with the gospel of Jesus Christ and that is why I am proud to say that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

This is a question that I have been asked quite often in the past couple of months. In the end of January I decided that I was going to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have been called to serve in the Mexico Merida Mission. The reason that I have decided to go on a mission is not because my parents are making me and not because its the "cool thing to do." I am serving a mission because I love God so much and I have felt his love towards me. I know how happy I am because of this gospel and I want to share that with others. I want to teach people where they came from, what their purpose here on Earth is, and where they are going. I want to show people how their families can not only be together on this earth, but for eternity. I want to testify to the lovely people of Mexico that I know that Jesus Christ died on the cross so that we would be able to return to our Father in Heaven again. I want to bear my testimony to them that Christ rose again. Jesus Christ lives today. He is with us and we are not alone. I want to testify to people that with God, anything is possibly.
