Hi I'm Benjamin Smith

I have been playing football for 8 years, I come from a family of 7 boys and I am fluent in Marshallese (Kajin majol)

About Me

I was born and raised Mormon. I played football for years; every second I was not doing school or work I was practicing football. I wanted to take an opportunity to reach out to more people and hopefully make more talents so I became a cheerleader at my local high school. I found I had quite the skill for cheer and hope I can continue cheering in college. I am the middle child of 7 kids; all boys and we all dream to be as good as Odell Beckom junior. I also have been playing guitar for many years and have loved music since I can remember. I can now play bass, ukulele, and guitar and I love playing music it is a great way to relax and lets be honest the ladies dig it. I also spend many hours in chemistry textbooks I want to become a chemical engineer, I love to study this life and discover the amazing things that make this life move and would like to add to that seemingly infinite pile of knowledge about this world.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I have to say I have been blessed with many trials in my life. My family is not active in the church and I struggled with my own testimony but I have seen great miracles in my own life that has rout a solid testimony in my heart that can not be moved. when I was sixteen my heart stopped and I suffered cardiac arrest, I was dead and thanks to the power of the priesthood from God I was saved and am living I know that priesthood power has been restored through this and many other experiences I know that through faith anything is possible, if it is within the will of God. I suppose other then owing my life to God's mercy, this gospel provides every person an opportunity for hope for a chance to change and to improve.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission in Oklahoma city, I can not say I do anything in particular but I know that continually reading from the scriptures, any man can come to find happiness in this life and in the world to come. The scriptures provide answers if you look for them, study them, and then ask questions; be bold in finding the answer to questions in your heart and you will find them in the great word of God even written by his great prophets.
