Hi I'm Jacob Boyle

I am a student. I'm an athlete. I'm a singer. I'm a future missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am interested in basketball as well as in tennis and I love to be active and to play all kinds of sports. I have eight people in my family: my mom, my dad, my two younger brothers, my three younger sisters, and me. I love to sing and I love music. I've been singing and playing the piano since I was a small child and have been doing it ever since. I will be attending BYU in the coming years and am excited to be a part of that awesome organization. I am soon to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in the Taiwan Taipei mission and will be speaking Mandarin Chinese. I love Chinese culture and I love to learn more things about the Chinese language and the people. I currently live in Utah and I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the church brings true happiness and makes life easier. In order to receive true happiness, one must follow the commandments of God, have faith in Him, and endure to the end. I love our Savior, Jesus Christ who atoned for our sins and made it possible for us to return to Him one day and become like Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being part of my ward in Draper, Utah and participating in my church activities and serving to the best of my ability in my church callings. I read my scriptures every day and have been doing so for almost four years and I haven't missed a day because I love the scriptures so much. I served as the Priest's Quorum First Assistant and helped my quorum to grow closer to one another. I am currently serving a mission in Taiwan, Taipei, I left the summer of 2016 and will be returning the summer of 2018. I'm so grateful for my opportunity to give up two years of my life to serve the Lord and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
