Hi I'm Jessi

Culture Enthusiast. Avid Book Reader. Sweater Wearer. Plant Cultivator. Philosophical Taoist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from the United States. My hobbies include, but are not limited to: art (admiring and creating), reading (any genre), music (with and without words), games (of all varieties), and spending time with others. Interested in astronomy, history, the outdoors, and ugly sweaters. A college goer, currently majoring in International Studies. I like to celebrate culture, language, and people, and traveling is always number one on my bucket list. I eat my Ramen with chopsticks. My dream will always be to make the world a better place.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel and, being from Utah, it was fairly simple and easy to live my religion. In many ways this was a blessing, in other ways my conversion process had to come from my own desire to sincerely know the truth. I can truly testify the peace and joy that the gospel brings. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, and through Him we can again return to the presence of our Heavenly Father. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true!

How I live my faith

I have held multiple callings in my own ward, but I would have to say that my most favorite is teaching the children. Many times I have learnt more from their faith and simple understanding than perhaps what I could have taught them. It is easy to see why Jesus Christ loved the little children and asked them to be brought to him.
