Hi I'm Meleseini Makaafi

I am from a very special Island called "Kingdom of Tonga". I am so excited to be a latter day Saints member.

About Me

I am a Pacific Islander from the Island of Tonga, I am proud of my culture and my tradition. I loved to performed Tongan traditional dance which is happened to be my favourite hobby. I am interested in computer learning and I am willing to learn more about it so it could help my life in finding a job in the future.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. There are now 2 wards in Tonga I've been. Our previous ward was Popua 1 a ward in the Nuku'alofa Tonga Stake and we were divided from there to a new Branch called Fangaloto Branch then from there we are now ward and we are blessed that we are going to moved to our new Fangaloto House Meeting chapel in 2017 and we are proud of it to be a pioneer in our ward. I am grateful for the opportunity that I grew up in the gospel and am so excited of its truthfulness and it's doctrines and I am looking forward for a time to be a servant in the lord hands and I would like to share that the full doctrines of Jesus Christ is in this gospel and I testifies of its Prophet and its leaders that they are great leadership for the world nowadays to change lives to come unto Christ.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith?...It is really complicated to me to share how I lived my faith because I feel like that there are different ways that have been influenced me in living the gospel of Jesus Christ within me and my family. One of this influence that humiliated me is being a Primary secretary in our ward. After my last year being a young women, I went the next year to Relief Society after about 2 or three Sunday in Relief Society, I was called for an Interview by our 2nd counsellor to our Bishop. I was shocked but I felt that I am needed for an important responsibilities. I said yes to the calling and I stand for my own believe that if I'll be willingly to do my responsibilities I'll be blessed. I realize that, that is one way of living faith, because I looked back and see now for the time I've spent with primary children they showed me great and very vital lessons which taught my life and that is how I lived my life to the fullest and live my faith it's through my willingness to fulfil my duty to God in simple daily act and loving my Primary kids helped me understand why I was called to this responsibility.
