Hi I'm Madeline Kunzler

I'm from Wyoming. I love sports and the outdoors. I'm a twin. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Madeline and I grew up in a small town in Wyoming. I have an older sister, a twin sister, and two younger brothers. Before moving to Wyoming we lived in South Carolina while my dad went to school, so we love it there too. Growing up we spent a lot of time outdoors working in the garden, riding horses, dirt biking, camping, and fishing. I also really enjoy reading, playing the piano, running, and playing basketball. I spent two semesters at BYU-Idaho after graduating from high school. I am planning on teaching high school english and/or health.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have believed for as long as I can remember. I still recall the first time I personally recognized the Spirit. I was in Primary and about six years old. I don't remember who spoke or what they said, I just remember the feeling I had. I had parents who tried to teach and live gospel principles. But it was when I was a sophomore I began to really gain testimony. As I studied the Book of Mormon and prayed with greater sincerity those tender beliefs I had in my younger years became stronger and stronger convictions. Today I can say that I have felt the spirit testify to me of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and the divinity and role of our Savior Jesus Christ. I know this is the one true and living church. "By their fruits ye shall know them" - My grandfather once said that "Even if the church wasn't true, I wouldn't want to live my life any other way." The rewards for living the gospel have always been evident to me. There is no other way I would want to live my life, either. The gospel works for me. It gives me purpose and happiness. I am so grateful for my knowledge of the gospel and our Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have received a call to serve a mission in Calgary Canada and preparing to go and serve the Lord has been an amazing experience. I am excited to share my beliefs with those who are willing to listen. I believe in the power of every day missionaries and the power of examples. We live our faith by increasing our own knowledge and the knowledge of others. As I have lived the gospel in my life, I have been blessed.
