Hi I'm Jacob

I'm a bass and pike fisherman, I love the outdoors, and I'm a patriot. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live for the outdoors. I love fishing, hunting, kayaking, hiking, and just about anything else. I love shooting sports and protecting the American way of life. God made this earth for us to live on and to use, but most of all to enjoy. I love helping others, I love my family, and I love the gospel. I am serving a full time mission to teach the gospel I know and love.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the opportunities it gives me in my life. I know that without Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father, we would be lost in life. I know that they have called prophets and apostles in our day to help us follow them and return to them. I love the values and morals that are emphasized in the gospel. I am a Mormon because I believe church and religion need to exist outside of only Sunday, because when life knocks me down I need to be able to look up and see a brighter future ahead. I know Jesus Christ lives outside of a church building as well, that He is in each of our lives at every moment of every day.

How I live my faith

I try to be a disciple of Jesus Christ everywhere I go, to whatever I'm doing. Growing up where I did, not many people are familiar with LDS folks and our beliefs, so I lived my faith mostly by trying to be "an example of the believers". I know that God and Christ will help us in our lives no matter who we are, where we are, or what we're doing. They have our backs 24/7. I try to live my life in a way that others can see me as a disciple of Him, at all times and in all places.
