Hi I'm Megan Loescher

I attend Southern Utah University. I got my call to the Mexico Puebla South mission! I am so excited to teach! I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very outgoing person! I love to meet new people, be with my family, be outside, be in church, and be busy doing something. I attend Southern Utah University. I am a Music Education Major right now. I work for an orthodontist as his assistant and I love it. I love everything about my life and I know the happiness that is in my life is brought upon by this Gospel. I KNOW this is right. I completed my mission papers and I will be going to the Mexico Puebla South Mission. I report in September of 2016. I speak OK Spanish, so I am excited to improve and be able to speak better. I grew up hunting and fishing with my dad and family, so I am very big on the outdoors thing. I love hiking, running, and being outside with God's creations. There are 6 of us in my family. I love my goats too. They are my favorite. I love this gospel and the church is true!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. I was born and raised in this knowledge. Although being raised in this has been great, I had to find a point where I knew for myself that this was true. I had to find out for myself that I know this is the right thing and I was converted after feeling the confirmation. I have some family members who have strayed. I see friends of mine who have strayed from this truth as well. I see the difference between my life and theirs. I know that true happiness comes from knowing the answers to simple questions such as: "Why am I here? Where do I go from here? Why is this happening to me? ETC." This gospel brings that happiness and that knowledge into MY life and I am thankful for it. I love this church. I am so grateful for this gospel. This means forever and always I will know what is going to happen and I will understand why I feel happy.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday. I pray to Heavenly Father daily and I feel his love for me. I lead the music in church every Sunday and I am thankful for the talents I have been given to be able to help out in church. I love my calling! I am preparing to be a full time missionary. I love the gospel!

What are Mormon temples used for?

Megan Loescher
Our Sacred temples are used to bring families together. They are used to bring all souls unto Christ and help seal us together. In temples we do work for those who have passed and may not have had the opportunity to hear about our Gospel and the plan that we CAN be together forever. It does not end after this life. We have opportunities as members to do service for these passed on souls in the temple. We are able to provide a baptism for them, sealing or sacred covenant. We learn sacred and eternal truths in the temple. Jesus Christ has made this all possible and it is important work that we do in the temple to be able to return back to our Father and His son, Christ. I am thankful for these ordinances and the truths I know. I love family and am thankful I get to be with mine forever because of this sacred sealing ordinance. Show more Show less
