Hi I'm Max

I'm 18 years old and preparing to serve a mission in the Brazil Sao Paulo South Mission! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 years old and will soon graduate from high school. I was involved in student council as a student body president and I love to play baseball. I was called to serve in the Brazil Sao Paulo South Mission and will report their this summer. I love the gospel and feel so blessed to serve the people of Brazil.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it gives my life direction and makes me happy. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints helps us understand why we are here and what it takes to return to live with God. It gives us commandments that if we follow will bring great blessings into our lives. These commandments act as a shield that protect us from Satan. When I follow these commandments and serve others, I find my trials are easier to handle. I love this church and I love the Savior. I know with his help anything is possible. He knows us and wants to help us. He is in the finer details of our lives. My prayer and hope is that all people will be able to come to this truth for themselves.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by trying to be more like the Savior. When I see someone alone I try to approach them and ask how their day is going. I also try to smile at everyone I see in the hall. I try to serve the special needs students in my school by volunteering to help them in their classes. I also serve as a ward missionary where we do service for the members of our community and teach lessons about our beliefs. My faith guides my decision making everyday as often ask myself, "What would the Savior have me do today?"
