Hi I'm Camille

I grew up in Utah. I am attending school to be a Social Worker. Mission bound. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah as a member of the church, the second of two children. I am attending college to earn a bachelor's degree in Social Work. I am headed on my mission near the end of July. I like to spend time in nature and with family and friends. I love the gospel and who I am because of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of the joy it brings into my life from the blessings of the priesthood to the Plan of Happiness. I have recently experienced some deaths in my family and through those trying times, my testimony of the Plan of Happiness has been strengthened. There are others in my family who believe that once a person is gone from this Earth, they are gone forever. The Plan of Happiness brings great comfort and joy because I know I will see them again. I know this Church is true and Heavenly Father sent His Son to atone for our sins here on Earth. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and restored the true church to this Earth. I know that we have living prophets today that are called of God and lead the church in truth.

How I live my faith

In high school, I was in a leadership position to serve other girls my age and to be an example to them. I was able to plan activities and lessons that would help others come closer to Christ and, in the process, I came closer to Christ. As I moved to college, I was a visiting teacher. This allowed me to get to know other women that I wouldn't have normally known well. I became close to them through service.
