Hi I'm Carter

I'm a missionary. I'm a triathlete. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a IronMan triathlete. I love exercising. I am an eagle scout. I love to play and watch sports. I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ. I will be attending BYU after my mission. I am a very energetic, six foot four, oldest brother. I love to teach and play with little kids. I love to be silly, and make people laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised into this church. So technically i did not have the choice when I was a young child. However, when I turned 8, I was given the opportunity to be a baptized member of the Church of Jesus Christ. I made this conscious decision, to be a member of this church and to live its teachings. Still today I make that constant effort to live the teachings of the gospel. I know this church to be a true church. The experiences I have had have convinced me of the truthfulness of its teachings.

How I live my faith

I am the second assistant in my priests quorum. I am the first missionary to be sent out by the new biship in our ward, who just so happens to be my father. Once a month as a quorum we find a service project to do within the ward. Also once a month I, with my companion, teach a family in our ward about the gospel. Typically this lesson comes from the Ensign, the First Presidency's Message (a message directed to the memebers of our church to use in home teaching, and for our own personal applications).
